Cosy One Bedroom Apartment overlooking Gardens in Period property The holiday apartment is situated in the Wellswood area of Torquay. This high end residential area has a centre often referred to as "Wellswood Village" since it contains a primary school, pub, post office, two restaurants, a cafe, a patisserie, beauty salons and so much more. These are all five minutes from the apartment. The building in which the apartment is located is surrounded by mature gardens and offers guests a tranquil stay with the added benefit of a central location. Torquay itself is part of the area known as The English Riviera. It has been welcoming visitors for over 100 years and is an all year round resort with an abundance of attractions.

The property is surrounded by beautiful mature gardens and guests are welcome to make use of these. We also have a conservatory at the front of the property and this is also for guests use

The apartment can be found on the first floor of the property and has a sitting room with sofa and armchair to relax in. There is a TV with built in DVD player and guests are welcome to borrow DVDs form the owners' own collection. In this room there is also a dining table and two chairs which can double up as work space for those guests on business. This room overlooks the Rose Garden at the side of the property. There is also a bedroom which has a super king bed (6 foot wide) which can be split into two to create two single beds. This room also has views across the Rose Garden. There is a separate hanging closet just across the hallway. Included in the apartment is also a good sized bathroom which features a bath with an electric shower over. We provide guests with a complimentary welcome pack of toiletires. Finally, there is a kitchen. This features a full sized electric stove with hob, a microwave, coffee maker and a dishwasher. We provide guests with a complimentary welcome pack of teas, coffees etc. Guests also have access to a communal laundry room which is located at garden level. Here there are coin operated washing machines and dryers. We provide guests with complimentary detergent. There are ironing facilities here too.

Torquay and The English Riviera have an abundance of things to do all year round with dozens of attractions open throughout the year. These include Paignton Zoo, Kent's Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village, Torre Abbey and the National Trust properties of Coleton Fishacre, Greenway and Compton Castle.

Torquay is built on seven hills like Rome and the property is located on one. However, the car park is flat and properly surfaced and there in only one step into the property.
