    “Ingenio ist ein quirliger Ort oder für spanische Verhältnisse schon eine Kleinstadt mit einer lebhaften Community. Es gibt verschiedene Restaurants (eher lokal besucht aber umso besser und kostengünsitger), einen fantastisch ausgestatteteten Supermarkt, in dem man neben den üblichen Artikeln auch immer tagesfrische Waren wie Fisch, Fleisch, Brot, Gemüse usw. bekommt. Weintrinker werden mit einem sehr guten und dabei preiswerten Angebot verwöhnt. Sehenswürdigkeiten in Ingenio haben wir weniger gesucht und daher auch nicht entdeckt - es gibt sie sicher.
    Aber direkt nebenan liegt Agüimes mit einer tollen Altstadt und fantastischen Restaurants, von denen Touristen und Einheimische schwärmen. Die Hauptstadt Las Palmas im Norden und die Strände von Maspalomas im Süden sind ebenfalls in weniger als 30min mit dem Auto zu erreichen - von daher eine perfekte Lage für einen abwechslungsreichen und erholsamen Urlaub.”
