Pinos de Alhaurín is a large urbanization on the outskirts of Alhaurín de la Torre, only with single-family houses. They say it is the best residential area. There are many commuters to Malaga.

show more at one at noon. This is great for shopping. In the village itself there are buses to the airport and to Malaga as well as to the beaches. These start south of the port of Malaga and end in Torremolinos and Benalmadena. There are beaches for all tastes, including nudists.
Your mini penthouse in Pinos de Alhaurín is really central for excursions and sports activities. Most worthwhile destinations can be reached by car in a maximum of an hour.
Only the visit to Gibraltar, which is recommendable in itself, has to be scheduled for two hours, which does not, however, include crossing the border. Depending on the current political weather conditions, half an hour to two hours are needed to enter the country, and up to four or five hours to leave the country if things are going really bad.
Marbella: via the A-404 and then the A-355 it is scenic and in the second section mountainous to Marbella, you meet at the shopping center La Cañada on the expressway to Marbella. From here it goes quickly to Puerto Banús to see luxury yachts. These are surrounded by similar boutiques. The nightlife rages here from midnight.
However, if you simply drive straight ahead, you will get directly into Marbella. On the right hand side you are directly in the old town center (Casco Antiguo). The eastern part of Marbella in particular has beautiful beaches.
Back you can also take the AP-7 toll road, and at Torremolinos, through the tunnel, take the E-15 straight to the Alhaurín de la Torre exit. This can be done free of charge on the coastal highway A-7, which meets the AP-7 behind Fuengirola. A maximum of 80 km applies on the A-7, the speed cameras there are profitable.
Torremolinos and Benalmádena with its marina: The whole slightly morbid area is better to visit in the dark, especially since the nightlife doesn't start until midnight, at least in summer. The traffic jams at three at night with the police officers trilling violently are a show.
Málaga center: there is something. The old town, within walking distance, houses almost all museums and borders the harbor. Countless pubs of all kinds are close together and are mostly frequented by locals, which is what makes it so attractive. Therefore the price level is also acceptable. The shopping streets around Calle Larios form an imposing boutique landscape, which, apart from the well-known brand shops, also has many interesting owner-managed shops.
Ventas: These are rural restaurants where the whole population sits at lunchtime on Sundays. The Guadálhorce Valley begins in Alhaurín de la Torre and was originally used primarily for agriculture, or better horticultural. Despite the more or less legal litter building, it has retained its charm. The Ventas are mostly located on the country roads between the individual "white villages".
Golf: starting with the closest Lauro Golf to the Ryders Cup course in Valderrama in Sotogrande, over 60 or more courses between 9 and 27 holes are lined up like a string of pearls. Apart from a few Schicki-Micki clubs, the price level for guest players is moderate.
Lauro Golf, which can be reached in under 10 minutes by car, offers 27 holes in the middle of nature. An equestrian center is attached.
The Gudalhorce Club de Golf with its 18 holes in the approach path of the airport can also be reached quickly via the E-15 in a northerly direction.
The 18-hole course Alhaurín Golf & Hotel Resort is located in the neighboring municipality of Alhaurín El Grande and can be reached in just under half an hour.
Getting around
There is a local bus that goes to the town center at nine tomorrow and back at one at noon. This is great for shopping. In the village itself there are buses to the airport and to Malaga as well as to the beaches. Night owls have to take the first bus back at six in the morning.
By car you can be in the center of Málaga with its numerous parking garages in 15-20 minutes outside of the rush hour. You are then right in the old town (casco antiguo) with the famous shopping streets (Calle Larios) and the many museums.
If you are here for work, you can reach the Parque Tecnológico de Andalusía (PTA) just as quickly or the extensive valley of the river "Guadalhorce" with its numerous rest houses (Ventas) and the surrounding "white villages".
It only takes a few minutes to get to Málaga Airport and the shopping centers in front of it. It is not much further to the beaches of Torremolinos and Benalmádena.
