    “The villa is on a gold resort. It is a bit out of the way of anything, which is why we booked it.
    There is a local shop 50 yards down the road, to get fresh bread, and to top up on beer, but the big supermarket is only about 15 minutes away for the big items.
    There is a restaurant and two bars beside the shop. the bars sell the usual sort of food, such as pizza and nachos etc, but the restaurant was there for the higher level of food.
    We never used the golf club, but it looked nice, with bowls and tennis courts too.

    if you wanted you could literally stay on the estate, but we drove down to the local town of Torrevieja for an evening stroll and to browse the shops and bars.”

    “Der Ort ist nicht sehr schön. Viel Müll und dadurch auch unangenehme Gerüche. Auch ist direkt am Ort kein schöner Strand. Da muss man etwa eine Viertelstunde fahren um an einen schönen Strand zu gelangen.”
