    “Liegt in Sitio. Etwa 10 Minuten Fußweg vom Ascensor (Bergbahn) runter nach Nazaré entfernt. Schlechte oder keine Fußwege, daher mit Kinderwagen eher ungünstig gelegen, wenn man nicht die ganze Zeit Auto fahren möchte. Viel Hundekacke auf den Fußwegen, da viele freilaufende Hunde.
    Man muss wissen, dass der Ascensor zu den Stoßzeiten vormittags, nachmittags und abends meistens sehr voll ist und man sich öfter in eine lange Schlange stellen muss. Die Wartezeit ist dann zwar passabel (~30 Minuten), da die Bergbahn häufig fährt, aber dennoch lästig.

    Strand von Nazaré: nicht für kleine Kinder geeignet, da zu hohe Wellen. Es gib aber einen Spielplatz am Strand.
    In Sitio keine Spielplätze. Es gibt eine Art Freibad/Spaßbad, dass den Kleinen sehr gut gefallen hat (Norpark), aber recht teuer ist (12 Euro / Tag).

    Essen: keine guten Fischrestaurants in Sitio und Nazaré gefunden, wir waren enttäuscht. Eher "Touristenfallen". Fisch essen in Lissabon oder Porto war dagegen in beliebigen (zufällig ausgewählten) Restaurants deutlich leckerer.”

    “Nazare offers a lot. Sitio, where the apartment is located (above the town) is old and relaxed and offers a quiet vibe in the evening. The views are breathtaking and sunset is always beautiful. Nazare town below is full of fantastic restaurants and has an huge long beach. We chartered a boat for a day's fishing and it was a great success. We were able to cook the catch on the barbeque.”

Nazare is a very lovely place. An old fisher village with a "down town" and a " high town" sitio connected with a lovely lift. Best place to enjoy seafood in portugal due to a deepsea canyon approaching the coastside not far away.
