    “Monticchiello ist ein hübscher Ort, der traumhaft gelegen ist und für sich auch einen Ausflug wert ist. Man kann sich dort - allerdings sehr teuer - versorgen, es gibt eine ganze Reihe schöner Ausflugsziele in der Nähe.”

    “Der Ort Monticchiello ist wunderschön. Ein kleines, ruhiges Dorf und man kann hier wunderbar Urlaub machen. Es gibt ein paar gute Restaurants im Dorf - wir haben drei ausprobiert und alle sind empfehlenswert ( besonders Trattoria Moranda und Osteria La Porta). Es gibt im Dorf selbst keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit aber 200 m außerhalb den Berg runter gibt es einen kleinen Markt, der alles in geringer Auswahl anbietet. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind in Montepulciano, Pienza oder San Quirico d'Orcia und sind zwischen 10 und 20 Km entfernt.
    Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass man das Auto im Dorf nicht parken darf sondern auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz etwa 300-400 m unterhalb der Dorfes (d.h. man muss immer den Hügel hinauf zur Wohnung). Deshalb auch hier "nur" 4 Kreise.”
