    “Der eigentliche Ort Liscia de Vacca ist etwas weiter entfernt (mit dem Auto 3min, zu Fuß 20-25min? ) und bietet einen Supermarkt, eine Apotheke und ein paar Restaurants. Wir hatten über die gesamte Dauer ein Mietfahrzeug, was sich als sehr praktisch erwiesen hat, denn sonst sitzt man mehr oder weniger in der Pampa fest.
    Die nächsten Ortschaften wie Baia Sardenia (belebte tolle Strandpromenade und schöner Sandstrand mit glasklarem Wasser) und Arzachena (hier günstigere Einkäufsmöglichkeiten - LD, EuroSpin) erreicht man mit dem Auto sehr schnell (10-20min). Interessierte der Archäologie kommen an den versch. Standorten der Ausgrabbungsstätten um Arzachena auch auf ihre Kosten.
    Porto Cervo erreicht man mit dem Auto in ca 10 min. Diese Stadt ist wohl das teuerste Fleckchen Erde der gesamten Insel, aber dennoch sehenswert. Weitere Ausflugsziele sind Palau (ca. 35min mit dem Auto), von wo aus die Fähren nach La Maddalena fahren, Olbia (ca. 35 min) und Tempio (ca. 60min). Lohnend ist auch die Fahrt nach St. Teresa (hübsche Altstadt) und zum Capo Testa ( ca. 1 h mit dem Auto).
    Die vielen wunderschönen Buchten im Norden und an der Costa Smeralda machen die Region trotz des relativ hohen Preisniveuas sehr attraktiv.”
