    “Kleine Geschäfte und einige Restaurants sind ca. 1,5 km in Lido di Noto zu finden. Supermärkte und Shopping-Marl sowie Restaurants gibt es im jeweils ca. 6 Km entfernten Avola bzw. Noto. Eins sehr schöner wenig überlaufener Sandstrand mit flachem Ufer ist fußläufig erreichbar.
    Da ohnehin ein Mietwagen zu empfehlen ist, sind Barockstädte wie Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Caltagirone und Syrakus etc. gut erreichbar. Einer Fahrt auf den Ätna steht dann auch nichts im Wege.”

    Das nahe Naturschutzgebiet "Vendicari" ist ganz wunderbar! Lange Wanderungen sind dort möglich, es gibt viel Natur zu bewundern und es blühten so viele Pflanzen, etliche, die mir ganz unbekannt waren ...
    Auch hier schöne, teils sehr unberührte Strände ...
    Noto ist schnell erreicht (ca. 10 Min. mit dem Auto) und bietet sehr viel! Barock pur, Kirchen, Fassaden, viel pittoreskes! Nette Restaurants!
    Die Umgebung (Berge, Städte, Dörfer) ist sehr reichhaltig und lädt zum Bummeln ein (per Auto wie zu Fuß).
    Es gibt mehr als nur die touristische Hauptstraße zu entdecken.
