    “In Kummerow gibt es ein historisches Schloss mit einer schönen Parkanlage die man zu Fuß in 5 min erreicht. Da finden regelmäßig Kunstausstellungen drin statt. Mein Hund und ich mochten aber besonders die alten Bäume (Kastanien u, Eichen und Ulme)n des Parks direkt am See- Kein Hundestrand leider. Einkaufen, essen und tanken kann man im Nachbarort (circa 8-10 km) entfernt. In Kummerow selbst geht da nicht viel was ich aber nicht schlimm fand. Sehr liebe freundliche Menschen . Immer für einen Geheimtipp gut, die Landschaft betreffend. Viele Familien verkaufen auch selbstgemachte Marmelade oder Obstsaft und Gemüse direkt vom Haus aus kleinen Gärten und Landwirtschaften. Unbedingt probieren!”

    “Kummerow liegt in der Nähe von Malchin (ca. 10 km). In Malchin gibt es ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
    In Kummerow selbst gibt es lediglich einen Miniladen mit dem Notwendigsten, der jedoch nur stundenweise geöffnet hat. Ansonsten gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch kein Restaurant, um eventuell mal Essen zu gehen.
    Was beeindruckt ist vor allem die Unberührtheit der Natur.
    Unsere Unterkunft befand sich am Ortsrand ca. 200 m vom Kummerower See, wo es einen kleinen Badestrand gab. Dieser war anfangs sehr ungepflegt und vermüllt. Nachdem sich jedoch Badegäste beim Bürgermeister beschwert hatten, wurde der Platz sehr schnell gesäubert.
    Für Menschen, die die unberührte Natur lieben und Ruhe bevorzugen ist der Ort gut geeignet.Schön wäre jedoch eine Einkausmöglichkeit und ein Restaurant vor Ort, falls man mal nicht kovhen oder fahren wollte. .”
