    “Buen Paso ist ein Ortsteil von Icod de los Vinos und liegt sehr zentral für alle Arten von Ausflügen. Für uns ist die Gegend die schönste Seite der Insel mit einer atemberaubenden Küstenlandschaft. Puerto de la Cruz oder Garachico sind mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Bars sind in der Nähe, ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Bar sind gleich um die Ecke vom Haus.”

    “Lt. Anbieter sollte es in 300 m Entfernung eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit geben, diese haben wir aber nicht gefunden. Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es dann ein paar Kilometer weiter in den unterhalb liegenden Ortschaften, gut zu erreichen mit dem Auto. An der TF-342 fährt allerdings auch ein Bus.

    Die Ortschaften rund um Icod de los Vinos sind sehr schön anzusehen. Man kann hier gut Essen gehen (fernab des Touristentrubels im Süden), die Menschen sind freundlich und herzlich.

    Die Natur und die Landschaft sind hier auch sehr schön, zum Laufen allerdings nur geeignet für sportliche Menschen (aufgrund extremer Steigungen).”

    “Der Ort ist nett, nicht allzu touristisch und hat sich seinen ursprünglichen Charme bewahrt. Das hat aber auch einen Grund, denn in dieser Ecke Teneriffas ist Sonnenschein absolute Mangelware. Wir hatten täglich die gleiche Prozedur: 3-4 Stunden Sonnenschein am Morgen, dann zieht sich eine Wolkendecke vom Teide kommend über die Region. Abends wird's dann recht kühl. Wer tagsüber Sonne haben will muss nach Süden, Norden oder nach oben über die Wolkenschicht ausweichen.”

    “Da wir uns selbst versorgt haben und wegen persönlicher Umstände die Umgebung und die Sehenswürdigkeiten nicht erforscht haben, können wir keine vollständige Bewertung abgeben. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aber sind bei 2 größeren Supermärkten in der Nähe ( 10 Min. mit dem Auto), sehr gut. Uns hat es vor allem die Fischtheke angetan. Die Angestellten in beiden Märkten sind sehr freundlich und begeistert wenn man auch nur minimal versucht sich in der Landessprache zu verständigen. Auch haben wir erlebt, dass man unsere Sprache erlernen wollte.”
