    “Im Ort gibt es, bis auf einen Bäcker, alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zahlreiche Gasthäuser.
    Die Ortschaft ist, wie zumeist in Österreich, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Menschen sind sehr gastfreundlich und begrüßen Dich freundlich mit einem " grüß' Di".

    Hüttau liegt sehr idyllisch. Von hier aus hat man die Qual der Wahl, was Wanderziele, Sehenswüdigtkeiten und Sportstätten betrifft. Der Dachstein, das Salzschaubergwerk Hallein, oder die weltgrößte Eishöhle in Werfen sind, wie viele weitere Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in 40 Fahrminuten erreichbar. Salzburg ist in 60 Minuten erreicht.

    Hüttau ist somit für Urlauber mit unterschiedlichsten Interessen zu empfehlen. Der Ort ist von Urlaubern noch nicht so stark frequentiert wie Flizmoos (11 km entfernt,) Ramsau (26 km), Bischhofshofen ( 40km) oder andere Wander (Ski)-ort in der Dachsteinregion.
