    “Granelli selbst ist ein kleines Örtchen, das kaum etwas bietet. Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist in Pachino, wenige Autominuten entfernt. Dort gibt es ausreichend Supermärkte und Restaurants. Da wir jedoch die Vielfalt Siziliens kennen lernen wollten, waren wir immer an einem anderen Ort zum Essen. Sollte es ein Restaurant in der "Nähe", d.h. auf Sizilien 10-15 Autofahrt, wäre Santa Maria bzw Ispica oder Pachino die richtige Adresse. In Granelli selbst gibt es eine Pizzeria, die wir allerdings nicht besuchten.
    Über Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und Freizeitangebote in der Nähe kann ich nur wenig sagen, da wir mit unserem Mietwagen entferntere Ziele wie den Äthna, Taomina, Marzamemi und Noto anfuhren.”
