Holiday House in Penmarch with Second Terrace

This high-quality accommodation is only about 100 metres from the sandy beach of Pors Carn, offering a relaxing holiday on the coast of Brittany. Its total of 210m² of living space can accommodate up to nine people. During the comprehensive renovation of the house in 2006, attention was paid to preserving the original character of the house built in 1924. Since then, the accommodation is also suitable for guests with restricted mobility.

When you enter the house you step into a big entrance hall with wooden panelling and stairs to the upper floor. The 16m² separate kitchen is fully-equipped, with a traditional gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, electric coffee machine, toaster and various kitchen utensils. The 40m² living room with wooden beams also serves as a dining room. You can relax on the leather sofas in front of the open fireplace, watch the play of waves in Audierne bay through the big windows, or watch TV together. There is also a stereo system. The ground floor also has a 14m² bedroom with a double bed 160cm wide. This bedroom has a private bathroom with a WC. The bedroom and bathroom are suitable for people with restricted mobility. There is also a guest WC on the ground floor, along with a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The upper floor has three bedrooms: a 23m² bedroom with a sea view and a double bed 160cm wide, a second bedroom of 20m² with a sea view and two single beds each 90cm wide, and a third bedroom with a view of the sea and of the garden, measuring 26m² and with three single beds 90cm wide. You will especially enjoy the bath with lion’s feet. The bathroom also has a big shower and two washbasins. The toilet is separate.

All the rooms, except the kitchen and the toilets, afford a view of the sea. All the electric appliances, the leather furniture and bed linen are new. There is oil central heating with radiators in all the rooms. Please note: if you decide to use the heating it incurs additional charges. Firewood for the fireplace is included in the rental price. If you bring a pet there are no supplementary charges. Free wireless Internet access is available. In the off-season, pets are allowed if they will not have access to the bedrooms, the cleanness of the garden will be respected and neighbors will not be annoyed.

The holiday house has a private, separate parking space and a garden with garden furniture, a parasol and a relaxation area with deckchairs. The terrace on the garden side can be accessed from the kitchen. There is a second terrace facing the sea, accessed through the living room. If you would like to go swimming, simply walk through a little door at the end of the garden, which leads to the beach. An outdoor shower with warm water awaits you on your return.

    “Eigentlich schreibe ich ungern über dieses Haus, weil ich es lieber als Geheimtip behandeln würde. Es ist wirklich fantastisch gelegen - direkt an der Küste - zur Meeresseite ist es natürlich immer etwas windig, aber dafür die Sonnenuntergänge... AUf der anderen Seite des Hauses eine schöne Terrasse, windgeschützt (mit gemauertem Grill und Warmwasserdusche). ALle Räume toll, groß. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass es im EG etwas wenig Stauraum im Zimmer gibt. Ausstattung super, toller Service vor Ort. Kurz und gut - superempfehlenswert! Jetzt höre ich auf.”

    “Mooi en statig huis uit 1923. ligging en uitzicht is fantastisch! Bijna met je voeten in de zee. Alle moderne faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. naast TV en wifi goede stereo-installatie en dvd speler. Open haard in de kamer die goed werkt (lekker in naseizoen). Een verbazingwekkend moderne en goed uitgeruste keuken met alle benodigde apparatuur en een 6-pits kookplaat op gas). Ontvangst en verzorging hartelijk en vriendelijk met bij aankomst een "bijna" lezing over de omgeving met restaurants, winkels en bezienswaardigheden. De eigenaar belde vlak voor vertrek nog of hij de verwarming alvast moest aanzetten.
    Kortom, een aanrader.”
