This beautiful, stately 18th Century holiday home is situated amidst a haven of greenery, just a few kilometres from Mortain, a lovely city renowned for its monuments such as the Collégiale and the Abbaye Blanche, as well as its stunning landscapes. It is nestled in a 4000m² park, complete with ancient trees, an outdoor lounge and barbecue facilities, which overlooks the valley of Mortain.

The holiday home was professionally renovated in 2005 and can now comfortable accommodate up to sixteen persons. The interior elegantly pairs rustic and original features with modern amenities. The ensuite bedrooms are spacious and cosy whilst the kitchen and living areas ensure that the whole group has plenty of space to relax in the evenings.

The nearby village of Mortain, and its immediate surroundings, offers plenty to do. The Mortain region offers over 400km of hiking trails, including part of the GR22, and the many rocks in the region offer plenty of opportunity for climbing. It is also home to the Grande Cascade of Mortain, which is a 20 metre high waterfall, as well as a rich heritage, with many ancient chapels, abbeys and churches found here. You may also wish to visit the Ger pottery museum, which provides an insight into the town's former existence as a major centre for pottery, or perhaps visit the See Valley, with its watermills. La Fosse Arthour, which is a deep gorge measuring 70 metres deep, is popular with climbers and hikers, and Chaulieu, the highest point in Manche, is popular with guests wishing to enjoy the 360° panoramic view. The holiday home is also a fantastic base for those wishing to enjoy daytrips to Mont St Michel, the Channel Islands and the famous beaches near Granville.
