If you want to experience proper wind, then drive half an hour to the North Sea. Also worth seeing are the Jyllandsakvariet and the Kystcenter in Thyborøn. Don't forget to buy fresh or smoked fish at the wharf afterwards. In Hjerl Hede you can see old half-timbered houses, another attraction in the region are lime pits in Mønsted and Dauberg.
