Your holiday accommodation is right by Lake Lakenesjön, with nature and mountains all around, a perfect destination for hiking and a holiday with your pet, which is welcome.
The house is comfortable furnished and you will soon feel at home. The well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, fridge, stove and mini oven, and a coffee machine etc. The living room provides satellite TV and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs. The living room has an adjoining dining room with a dining table and six chairs. The first floor has three bedrooms, the first with a double bed (160 cm x 200 cm), the second with two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm) one next to the other, and the third with a double bed (each 90 cm x 200 cm). There are two bathrooms, the first on the ground floor with a toilet, and the second on the first floor with a bath, shower and WC. There is another room in the basement just with a shower, where you can also clean your dog. There is hot and cold water in all bathrooms. The ground floor has a washing machine.
The living room opens onto the roofed terrace, from which you can see the beautiful landscape, lakes and hills, even when the weather is inclement. All around the house there is a big garden of 1200m², ensuring privacy. Behind the house and in the south the garden borders a meadow with the lake beyond that, about 150 metres away. When darkness falls deer might enter the garden looking for food.
You can spend the evening cosily in front of the fireplace, for which you must provide your own firewood. At the town of Rada (7 km) you can rent for extra charge a canoe, a rowing boat or a boat with outboard engine. Internet use up to 1500 MB per week is included. If you need extra MB's, you can order on spot more for extra cash. There is central heating fired by electricity or pellets. Outside of the heating season the heating is switched off. Of course you can ask the owners to switch the electric heating on if required. Already included in the rental price is the cost of water, electricity and heating. So about additional costs at very low temperatures you don't need not to worry. The deposit is transferred back to you after arrival, if no particularities have occured.
The accommodation is 5 km from a main road. The last few kilometres are an asphalted road between forests and hills, to the village of Sorby. The house is at the edge of the village by an asphalted road. There is a supermarket in Rada, 6 km away, and the towns of Eksharad (18 km), Hagfors (20 km) and Munkfors (20 km) provide everything you need. The area is ideal for hiking. On your walks you might see elk, stags, foxes, beavers, or more rarely a bear or a white wolf.
