This beautiful apartment is located in the district Elend, in the middle of the Upper Harz. On the terrace, you can have a barbecue and enjoy pure relaxation and tranquillity. The wild and romantic nature reserve Elendstal in the valley of the 'Kalte Bode' (a headstream) invites nature lovers, families and those who seek peace and quiet to go hiking. Numerous hiking trails lead to the nearby Brocken. Alternatively, you can 'climb' the highest mountain in the Harz by taking the Brocken Railway from the nearby station 'Drei-Annen-Hohne'. In the winter you'll find that all the groomed cross-country skiing trails, lifts and cleared hiking trails are ideal for skiing activities.
