The Ciliego is situated on a Tuscan hill in a very peaceful spot that enjoys a breathtaking view of the Chiana Valley. It is an 18th century sand stone farmhouse built on two floors. Ground floor: comfortably furnished sitting room , fully equipped kitchen and dining room. A wooden staircase takes you up to the first floor where there are 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with a bath and one with a shower). The upper floor can also be accessed by an external sand stone staircase. Il Ciliegio has a fully equipped garden where to enjoy delicious meals with a stunning view and a swimming pool to be shared with the guests at Il Lauro only. Staying at Il Ciliegio will be a wonderful experience allowing you to live in full contact with nature but only 5 km by car from the Medieval town of Cortona which can also be reached on foot (a beautiful and panoramic 40-minute walk) by taking the old Roman road.
