Spacious stone house with a big garden, near the sea

This characteristic stone house is on a large, green plot of land near the sea.

The holiday house is in an enclosed park of around 6000m² with a variety of plants and trees. There is a parking space on site. You can play pétanque in the courtyard. On the lawn a net has been set up so that children can play e.g. volleyball or badminton. Wooden picnic tables, a parasol and a grill are provided.

The holiday house of around 110m² is suitable for up to nine people and is comfortable and spacious. The ground floor has a living room with a big table, sofa and TV, as well as a kitchen corner with an electric oven, gas and electric cooking rings, a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The first floor has three bedrooms, two of which have a double bed, while the third has two single beds. On this floor there is also a bathroom with a bath. The toilet is in a separate room. The second floor of the house has a fourth bedroom with three single beds and a bathroom area with a shower cubicle and washbasin. All the bedrooms have a range of furniture such as a wardrobe, dresser, clothes stand, chairs and bedside tables.

The holiday house is about 400 metres from the seaside. Everyday shops, restaurants and leisure facilities are within easy access. You can visit the beach, go fishing, play tennis, enjoy water sports, play golf, go riding or hiking on many hiking trails. Of course you can also go on trips to places of tourist interests such as Saint Vaast la Hougue with its fishing and yacht harbour, the fort on Ile de Tatihou, which is part of the Vauban fortifications and is a UNESCO world cultural heritage site, as well as oyster farms that are famous for cultivating delicious oysters. A little further away there are the landing beaches. You can visit Cherbourg and the Cité del la Mer museum, the Gattevilla lighthouse, the little Barfleurs harbour or Cap de la Hague and the whole west coast with its variety of landscapes.

    “Positiv: Le vaste parc . Negativ: Le seul WC est à l étage et le verrou ne fonctionne plus.
    La 4ème chambre est en mezzanine ( sonore).
    Les lits sont très bas.
    Les portes des armoires des chambres n' ouvrent pas.”

    “Das Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert. Die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings ist ihr Englisch nicht so gut, wer gut französisch sprechen kann ist hier richtig. :-) Bei uns ging es mit Händen und Füßen. :-) Vermieter geben Tipps zur Region und Sehenswürdigkeiten, ebenso zu den kulinarischen Delikatessen vor Ort.
    Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist gut, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Der Außenbereich sehr gepflegt, die Vermieter täglich auf dem Grundstück vor Ort um sich darum zu kümmern.”

    “Is heel mooie rustig buurt. Alleen sta maar 1 zetel om te zitten binnen en keuken is wat verouderd. Heel vriendelijk mensen trouwens wel.”

    “juste une petite rectification:
    côté cuisine : 6 chaises et 2 grands bancs
    côté salon : 1 canapé 3 places , 2 fauteuils , 1 grand siège/pouf
    pour les 3 chambres : 6 chaises et 2 tabourets
    salle de bains : 2 tabourets
    Donc il semble que les remarques données par le vacancier ne sont pas très justifiées .......”

    “Das ist schön in den Schlafzimmern eingerichtet und der Garten ist wunderschön. 2 Engpässe - die Küche/Wohnzimmer im EG ist eher ungemütlich weil Steinboden und es gibt keine echte Wohnzimmeratmosphäre. Zweiter Engpass. Das Haus liegt an einer recht stark befahrenen Strasse. Wenn man das Fenster Richtung Strasse hat, dann wir man früh wach. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Sprechen nur französisch.”
