Idyllic farmhouse in Småland

The modernised and charming holiday house from the year 1800 is in a rural idyll in Småland.

It is a farmhouse on a farm and consists of two floors. The ground floor has a kitchen and a big living room with a dining corner, as well as a sitting corner, a fireplace, a sofa with two extra beds. There is also a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The upper floor has a bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds.

Next to the kitchen there is a lovely terrace with garden furniture, a grill and plenty of greenery.

Cows, sheep and horses graze on the fields and meadows all around. You can go on lovely walks and gather berries and mushrooms. The forested areas have wild animals, such as elk, stags and wild boar. There are beautiful inland lakes 13km away and it is 32km to the Baltic Sea. There are many huts in the surroundings and 7km there is the start of a hiking trail. Those who like fish and would like to hire a boat have several options within the area (licence required). In Hindsjön, Alsterbro, 13km away, you can hire a boat and acquire a fishing permit. You can do the same at Lake Allgunnen, 40km away. The lake to the north has a viewing point, Avoda Klint, as well as a lovely restaurant. It is a couple of hours to Astid Lindgren’s World to the north. The house is 38km from Kalmar and the Öland bridge.

    “Ein sehr schönes Schwedenhaus wie man es sich vorstellt.Die gesamte Anlage des Gartens ist sehr gepflegt und traumhaft und man kommt von der ersten Minute an zur Ruhe. Der naheliegende See lädt zu einer Rudertour oder auch zum Schwimmen ein.”
