Spiti Limnos, quietly situated in an orange grove

This holiday house is idyllically and quietly situated in an orange grove, which is supplied with water by a traditional scoop wheel, and is near the little village of Volissos. It is just 250 metres from the lovely beach at Limnos. The house is ideal for one or two families who would like to spend a holiday in an authentic, rural area, far away from big tourist centres.

The 190m² house can accommodate thirteen people and is simply but tastefully furnished. It has three bathrooms with a shower and toilet, as well as five bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. Two of these bedrooms have a double bed, while the third has three sofa beds each for one person. The two bedrooms on the first floor each have a double bed and a single bed. The living room provides a fireplace with a cosy sitting area in front of it, with an adjoining open kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and kettle.

The furnished terrace on the first floor affords a wonderful view of the olive groves and the sea behind it. The garden has a grill and an outdoor shower. There is parking space on site.

Please note that the house does not have a TV. The fireplace can be used during the months from November to March. The final cleaning is only charged during the main season, during the other months of the year it is included in the rental price. A car is recommended.

There are shopping facilities in the picturesque village of Volissos two kilometres away. In the evenings you can visit the tavernas in the village or at Limnos beach. You get to the beach, which is not overcrowded, along a little path. You can also find local gastronomy in the little fishing harbour of Limnia, which is a fifteen-minute walk away. During the summer months of July and August many little festivals with dancing and folkloric music are held in the surrounding villages.
