Traditional half-timbered house with a private patio and garden near Colmar

This holiday house is located in the lovely Alsatian lowlands at the centre of Horbourg-Wihr, only two kilometres from the centre of Colmar. Its location offers our guests the possibility to spend their time relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings, or discovering the city of Colmar, the wine capital of the region. There are also cycle paths nearby (bicycles can be stored safely in the barn adjacent to the cottage).

The holiday home has a fenced in, small and beautiful garden. The patio in front of the house is furnished with outdoor furniture, a sun shade and a barbecue. Two quiet, public parking areas are located about 20 meters from the house.

This charming, traditional half-timbered 43 m² house (roof slopes not included) offers room for up to four people. The 18.th century barn was fully refurbished, now offering modern amenities while retaining its original charming character. The living room with the adjacent open plan kitchen unit boasts a comfortable sofa and armchairs, as well as a television. The kitchen is fully furnished with modern equipment, such as a stove, an oven, a coffee maker, a toaster, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a washing machine and a microwave. There is also a breakfast nook. Both bedrooms are located on the top floor. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed, the other bedroom has two single beds which can be assembled. (Please make the request to the owners in this is your wish). The two bathrooms offer a sink, a shower and a toilet.

The owners live next door and are happy to answer any questions that may arise. A child's cot and highchair are available free of charge. Pets are not permitted. The bus stop, servicing Colmar regularly, is only 20 meters from the house, allowing you to visit Colmar with its picturesque small alleys and museums, without worrying about parking. There are numerous possibilities for walks in the vicinity. An internet cafe is located about 3 kilometres from the house.

Please note that the provision of bed linen and towels and final cleaning are not included in the price.If required, these need to be booked separately in advance directly from the owners and paid upon arrival.

    “Das Haus ist traumhaft schön in perfekter Lage. Alles ist schnell erreichbar, sowohl der Supermarkt also auch Colmar.
    Den Aufenthalt kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.
    Ganz besonders waren die Vermieter die super freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend waren.”

    “Het huis is keurig netjes, voorzien van alle benodigdheden. De verhuurders zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het enige nadeel is de ligging vlak bij een drukke weg waardoor er wel wat lawaai is.”
