Cosy little house with a big garden in quiet surroundings, equipped with a washing machine and dryer

The house enjoys a wonderful, quiet location amidst pastures, in the picturesque village Valkkoog, just outside Schagen, up in northern Holland near the sea. Schagen, about 2km away, is a leisurely tourist village in summer with many shops, restaurants and tourist activities. The sea and the beach are about five kilomeres away and easy to get to by car (10 mins.) or bicycle (20 mins.).



The little house has a 27m² living room/bedroom with two single beds, a conservatory of around 12m² looking out onto the garden (1700m²) and the countryside, a kitchen fully-equipped with all the essentials, and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin and WC. There is central heating and hot water.



Outside there is a private terrace (12m²) facing south-east.



As an extra, the owners offers two bicycles during your stay. A junior bed is available. There are no further supplementary costs for bed linen, towels, energy, the final cleaning and use of the bicycles.


Please note: The holiday home is suitable for 2 adults and 1 child up to a maximum of 15 years. Therefore, please include the names and ages of all travelers with every booking. Thank you.



Valkkoog is also a suitable starting point for visiting Amsterdam, the island Texel, or the old Ijsselmeer villages Hoorn and Enkhuizen. If you would like to arrive by train, then the Schagen train station is about 2km away.

    “-Ausstattung: es war alles vorhanden, wie beschrieben, Küche gut eingerichtet, -Bad/Toi auch ok, obwohl man dafür erst durch die Garage musste,
    -Sauberkeit gut, Betten ok; wir haben gut geschlafen
    -Ordnung im Durchgang und Außen, war nicht gut, es sah etwas unordentlich aus,
    -die Vermieter sind nette alte Menschen, die schaffen es sicher nicht mehr, so darauf zu achten
    -die Blumenbeete im Garten ungepflegt
    -die Gartenterasse des Ferienhauses hat auch schon einige Jahre keine Renovierung erfahren
    -die Sitzmöglichkeiten aus der Terrasse waren wenig
    keine Stühle u Tisch zum draußen essen, nur große Klappstühle”
