Guesthouse in an idyllic location with a variety of accommodation

The Alpenhof enjoys a central location in Niederau, the first locality in the Wildschönau.

It offers apartments and studios for two to six people, all with fully-equipped kitchens, satellite TV and a hairdryer. Some have a balcony or terrace. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the house. There is also a boot room with a boot dryer.

In summer we offer you a large garden with a lawn, playground (also with a trampoline, table tennis) and a sun terrace.

In summer the following services are included: Markbachjoch and Schatzberg cable car, entry to Wildschönau outdoor pool, use of Oberau tennis courts, Oberau Mining Museum, craft market on Thursdays, guided hiking programme from Monday to Friday, Drachenclub children’s programme from Monday to Friday, bread rolls delivery service on request. For fishing enthusiasts: fishing permits for the “Wörgler Bach” are available from us.

Nearby you can find shops (nearest supermarket 100 metres), restaurants, a bank, a bus stop and the Markbachjochbahn cable car. You can go riding at the Wastlhof riding stables, where there is also a riding school. There is the Wildschönau flying school for paragliding.

    “Studio beantwoordde aan de beschrijving. Netjes. Voldoende opbergruimte, goed bed. Skilokaal was heel handig, veel ruimte en mogelijkheid om schoenen te drogen. Jammer dat op de TV op 1 kanaal BBC na enkel Duitstalige zenders ter beschikking waren.
    Keuken en badkamer netjes, voldoende uitgerust en in orde maar wat verouderd.
    Het appartement zelf is zeer goed gelegen, zowel bij de lokale pistes als bij de bushalte. De streek is ook heel aangenaam voor niet skiers: er zijn heel wat winter wandelingen mogelijk die goed zijn Qua skidomein is het heel goed voor families met kinderen die leren skieen, daartegenover staat wel dat er weinig pistes zijn om de overgang tussen beginnende en goede skier te maken: alle mooie pistes zijn rode pistes, het aanbod blauwe pistes is zeer beperkt.”
