If you wish to enjoy a holidays in a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere enjoying as well as the real rural Majorcan splendour surrounded by natural beauty, Ailen is the house you are looking for as it is set in the quiet rural area called Son Mesquida about 7 km. from the inner town of Felanitx in the south-east of Mallorca. In Felanitx you can find shops, restaurants, cafeterias, visit its bustling market which takes place every Sunday morning or take horse riding lessons in the riding school Son Menut. The charming fishing port of Porto Colom is 20km. away and offer several sandy beaches and nice restaurants. Close to Porto Colom there is also a golf course. The tourist resort Cala d'Or about 20 minutes drive offers a wide variety of restaurants, shops and a beautiful marina with superb water front restaurants. The pretty beach with turquoise water “Es Trenc” located Colonia Sant Jordi is also 20 minutes drive away.
The exterior is really nice, relaxing and spacious. At the back of the house there is large and well kept lawned garden with some olive trees, a beautiful designed swimming pool (12m. x 6m. Depth 1.10 – 1.65) with Roman steps where you can take refreshing swim during the warm summery days. You can also relax and sunbathe at reclining sun beds. By the pool there is a barbecue area with a brick built barbecue and a toilet with shower. Enjoy the balmy summery evenings sitting at the beautiful covered terrace, relaxing, reading your favourite book or having a nice “al fresco“ evening meal.

Ailen is a beautiful new construction country house which exterior walls are clad with the rural stone typical of the area and the inside is airy with a mix of rustic and modern. The open living/dining area with a wood-burning stove has access to the lovely covered terrace. The kitchen is spacious, furnished with a modern style and has access to the pool terrace. From the kitchen there is access to the utility room. The house boasts a twin bedroom and two double bedrooms –one of them is really spacious with a dressing area and access to the covered terrace-. All bedrooms share a modern designed bathroom.
Air conditioning on request and not included in the price. Air conditioning on request with extra charge, payable locally.
A change of linen takes place once a week
Sheets, towels for the use of the house, tea towels, final cleaning and expenses less air conditioning (electricity, water, gas) are included in the price.
