Wellness holiday in a child-friendly guesthouse with three comfortable holiday apartments in an idyllic location near the ski resort


This is an idyllically situated guesthouse with five comfortable holiday apartments in a cosy and quiet village at the foot of Hochtannberg, between the Arlberg and the Bregenzerwald, not far from the southernmost tip of Bavaria. The house is surrounded by a wonderful mountain setting in the Unterboden area, about a kilometre from the village centre of Schöcken. There is a bus stop right behind the house with free transfers to the skiing and hiking area.

Apart from the fabulous location not far from the skiing areas, the guesthouse offers wellness areas such as an outdoor whirlpool, an infrared cabin and a solarium. Children will enjoy the play room. There is a shared garden outside with a grill and each apartment features a private balcony. On the first floor there is the holiday apartment property no. 620656 measuring 60m² and with two bedrooms for four people and the apartment object no. 1280101 with two bedrooms for four persons. One floor higher there is holiday apartment no. 480747 of the same size and with one bedroom. Next to this apartment there is the generous maisonette apartment no. 1197413 for up to eight people, with four bedrooms and measuring 90m². The apartment (object no. 1585710) with three bedrooms for eight people is accessed via the upper entrance (only one step). All the apartments offer a relaxing, independent holiday owing to fully-equipped kitchens, cosy living rooms and two bathrooms each.

The balconies provide garden furniture for meals outdoors, with a wonderful view of the valley. The outdoor whirlpool and a lawn with a grill area round off the outdoor area.

The special features include child-friendly amenities such as a vehicle park with a chubby car, scooter and other vehicles in front of the door. In winter a sledge and toboggans are available. The site provides ample space to play in the snow. During the summer period from 1 May to 1 November, the Bregenzer-Card is included for stays from three nights, which means free entry to the mountain experiences in the Bregenzerwald such as cable cars, swimming pools and public transport.

There are local shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as specialist ski shops about 1000 metres away. The downhill ski piste is just a kilometre away and the ski bus stops in front of the door. It is about 8km to tennis courts and swimming pools. Enjoy the picturesque landscape on your trips.

Comfortable holiday apartment with a double bedroom and two bathrooms

The south-facing balcony facing south with a mountain view is furnished with a table and four chairs for having meals or a drink in the evening.

This holiday apartment combines a modern flair and rural charm, meeting the highest of standards for a carefree holiday. It provides 55m² of living space on the second floor, comprising a bedroom, two bathrooms and a large living room with a pull-out corner sofa and a kitchen with a dining corner. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm) with a bedside table and reading lamp on either side. You can store your luggage in the double-door wardrobe. You can watch satellite TV comfortably from the bed. The room provides access to the balcony and also to the bathroom through a walk-through room, furnished with a pull-out leather sofa that two children can sleep on, if you do not wish to use the living room sofa for this purpose. The living room is a walk-through room to the kitchen. You can relax after a day trip on the corner sofa, which can be pulled out as a bed measuring 150 x 220cm, with a flatscreen TV with satellite channels or a stereo system providing entertainment in the evening. The kitchen enables convenient self-catering with a four-ring hob and oven, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine (filter and Nespresso), toaster and kettle. Next to the narrow corner kitchen there is a dining space with a bench and two chairs for meals together. The two bathrooms are fitted with a shower cubicle, a WC and a washbasin.

    “Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns nichts, so dass wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Die Vermieterin hat uns freundlich begrüßt, eine Flasche Sekt stand für uns gekühlt bereit und die wichtigsten Touristeninformationen lagen auf dem Küchentisch. Auch während unseres Aufenthalts war die Vermieterin immer für uns da. Kostenlos konnten wir unsere schmutzige Wäsche waschen und trocknen, jeden Morgen lagen Brötchen in einem Stoffbeutel vor unserer Tür (Brötchenservice), ein großes Bücherregal und Zeitschriften standen zum Schmökern bereit und ca. 30 Gesellschaftsspiele konnte man sich ausleihen. Vom Balkon aus hatte man einen wunderschönen Bergblick, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Wir waren zu zweit, dafür ist die Wohnung ideal; jeder hatte sein eigenes Badezimmer. Die angrenzende Straße und der Tunnel haben uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Auch aus dem Küchenfenster sieht man die Berge und die Geräusche sind kaum wahrnehmbar, dafür hört man das Rauschen des angrenzenden Flusses, was wir sehr schön fanden.”

    “L'appartement est très petit, et il n'y a en fait qu'une chambre avec une petite pièce attenante (sans porte ni rideaux). Convient pour un couple avec ou sans enfant mais trop petit pour 3 ou 4 adultes.
    Le divan du salon ne se transforme pas en lit...

    Les propriétaires sont très gentils et pas du tout envahissants.
    Il y a d'autres logements plus grands dans l'immeuble.
