This stretch of coast is very popular with water sports enthusiasts and divers, and the whole region stands out for its variety of attractions. Some excursion tips: the popular tourist town of Tropea (known also for the cultivation of the delicious red onions) is only about 7 km away; Vibo Valentia with boat connection for day trips to the Aeolian Islands is about 30 km away; the characteristic village of Pizzo Calabro with its historic center 30 km.
