It's time for the Baltics; start in Riga, but don't miss the opportunity to explore the countryside as well. The Parkview Apartment, as the name suggests, is located opposite and with a view of the beautiful Ziedonarzs Park, near popular landmarks, and some of the city's best and beloved restaurants and cafes. Our apartment features a fantastic wooden floor, is very bright and quiet, providing a serene and peaceful environment where you can work on your laptop or read a book before heading out. A thoughtfully curated selection of furniture, books, and artworks awaits you. This apartment is designed for contemporary individuals who love design and art, it features various artworks by emerging and well-known international artists. We are pleased to offer our spacious apartment on the mezzanine floor of a typical Nordic wooden house, which comprises a total of four apartments. The house has two floors, and the apartment is situated on the first one (mezzanine). While the exterior is awaiting a fresh coat of paint, the interior and core of the building have recently undergone renovation (completed in spring 2023), meticulously preserving the original architecture. The Parkview Apartment comprises two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The larger bedroom, featuring a king-size bed overlooking the peaceful backyard, enjoys tranquility for most of the year, adorned by the green leaves of the trees, creating a small village ambiance in the heart of the city. The second, smaller bedroom overlooks the street and is furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed. The living room, with two large windows offering views of the park, includes a spacious table and a sofa bed suitable for one to two persons. While openly connected to the kitchen, the living room is separated by doors from the larger and smaller bedrooms. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and large shower area. The apartment utilizes central heating, and as homeowners, we cannot control when the municipality activates it. This means that in the fall (mid-September to mid-October), it can sometimes be quite chilly in the apartment. Once the central heating is turned on, it definitely becomes more than warm enough. Exiting the house and turning left after 100 meters, you will find a French cafe and bakery. Another cafe is located in Ziedonarzs Park across from the apartment; the park is also an excellent place for jogging. At the intersection of Matisa / Terbartas iela (5 minutes' walk), you'll find the local supermarket Rimi and the Italian ristorante and pizza place, Da Sergio. Further down, as Matisa becomes Miera iela, you'll encounter the local hipster barista spot, Rocket Bean. MiiT Cafe (15 minutes away, towards the old town) offers a vegetarian and vegan breakfast and lunch buffet, as well as a good cafe and spaces to work on your laptop. The vegan restaurant Terapija is just around the corner. Public transport can be reached within minutes. The apartment is ideally situated within the city, enabling you to reach everywhere on foot or by tram. Another convenient way to get around is using the local taxi app, Bold. In the backyard, there is a free parking space for cars and bicycles.Type of property:
