Barn under the oak trees
The barn offers approx. 90 square metres of space on the 1st floor for up to 5 people. The spacious loft is designed so that each beam of the almost 80-year-old barn emphasises its golden-brown contrast to the white walls and ceiling. The large room is characterised by its high ceilings and versatility as a kitchen, dining room and living room. In the living room area there is a sofa bed and several armchairs for relaxing in front of the cast iron stove or in front of the TV, which can only be received via WLAN. Above the loft is a gallery that can be used as a separate playroom or extended bedroom. Thanks to the south-facing floor-to-ceiling windows, the room is very bright and also offers a breathtaking view of the oak forest, creating an extension to the large balcony. This has a large dining table, which can be converted into a whirlpool in a few simple steps if required (remove the 2-piece table top). A barbecue is also available.
On the ground floor is the sauna, a second rustic bathroom, washing machine and the hot water tap for using the hot water in the outdoor area (outdoor shower and whirlpool).
In the outdoor area you can either relax on the mobile forest sofa or the giant swing (3 variants - nest swing, tyre swing, hammock).
For children, a fairly fast zip wire (only recommended for ages 6 and up) or the sandpit are a welcome diversion.
A fireplace also offers the possibility of a cosy end to a day ‘under the oaks’.
The bedrooms are very small. The 2nd bedroom was photographed with a wide-angle lens, which makes it appear somewhat larger and also has no direct outside window and is therefore relatively dark.
