We particularly recommend a trip to nearby Tisvilde Hegn, one of Denmark's largest forests, with its old trees and beautiful paths. Also visit the picturesque fishing village of Gilleleje, with its lively harbour and cosy cafés, offering an insight into local life and maritime tradition.
