Take a hike on the nearby lake Tange Sø, Denmark's largest man-made lake, or climb Himmelbjerg and enjoy the sweeping views from the top. For those interested in culture, the Jorn Museum in Silkeborg is recommended, while Denmark's second largest city, Aarhus, with its diverse cultural offerings, many good restaurants and cafés as well as exciting museums, is only a short drive away.
