Die Gemeinde Flühli-Sörenberg gilt als touristisches Zentrum der UNESCO Biosphäre Entlebuch. Die Gesamtfläche der Biosphäre beträgt 394 Quadratkilometer und kaum eine Region besitzt so viele Naturschätze auf so engem Raum, wie der «Wilde Westen von Luzern».
Das Haus Kreuzbuche befindet sich in Flühli, 8 km entfernt von Sörenberg. Zur Kneippanlage Schwandalpweiher sind es nur ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss und zu den Geschäften nur wenige Gehminuten. Stündliche Busverbindungen nach Sörenberg.
