You will spend your vacation in Swedish Lapland with Sami, moose, reindeer, waterfalls, winding rivers, mountains and fascinating silence. Here you can look forward to experiencing the midnight sun and the northern lights in the middle of deep forests. In addition to the excellent fishing opportunities offered by the beautiful Kalix River, the surrounding area includes the Mellersta Hällberget nature reserve. A path leads you through the primeval forest with pine trees that are 400 years old or older. The nearby small ferry takes you to the opposite shore, where you can continue your excursion to the Arctic Moose Farm. Here you can learn more about the king of the forest, the Arctic moose. You can pet, hug and feed the moose, and if you're lucky, you might even get a kiss (please note that all visits to the farm must be booked in advance). We also recommend that you explore the town of Överkalix, which has something for everyone all year round: Adventure, activities and relaxation.
