The house fits wonderfully for a large family gathering and exudes cozy warmth and comfort with dark wood colors, fireplace and appealing interior. Plan your activities and excursions for the day ahead at the breakfast table. Here you can enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming and observing the rich plant and animal life.

Hike around the lake and explore the neighboring lakes. Fyresdal offers a wide range of hiking trails through the forests, up the mountain peaks and into the heath. A large network of marked trails with varying degrees of difficulty makes it exciting for most people who want to take a hiking tour. The Fyresdal village museum is also worth a visit. Also take a trip to the beautiful hiking trail Hamaren, right by the lake Fyresvatn and surrounded by beautiful pine forests.
