The Raingüetli vacation home is located in the sunny resort town of Amden above the Walensee. Located near the village center, the 2-bedroom apartment can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the mountains around Amden. The village center can be reached in a few minutes on foot. In the village there are various restaurants, two small supermarkets, a café with a bakery, an indoor pool, and the chairlift station. The apartment is on the mezzanine floor of the house. The bathroom and bedrooms were renovated in 2019. The apartment offers two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, a separate kitchen, and balcony and terrace for shared use. The building towers high above the neighborhood like an eagle's nest. So there are a few steps to climb to enter the building. A total of 5 parking spaces are available. The nearest bus stop "Amden, Brugg" is near the house. This makes this home the ideal base for outings in and around the region and to the Walensee. The family ski area Arvenbüel with ski school can be reached in around 10 minutes by car or bus. Enjoy the panoramic views of the beautiful mountains and natural surroundings of Amden. Located in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen, the village is in a sunny location above the deep blue Walensee. Amden is worth a visit at any time of the year. Wonderful beaches on the Walensee, charming family hiking trails, and impressive panoramas from numerous viewpoints invite you to linger. In winter, Amden and Arvenbüel are very popular family ski areas. Equipped with a child-friendly ski school and easy slopes, Amden offers excellent conditions for your next skiing vacation. The Lake Zurich region with the medieval town of Rapperswil can be reached from Amden in half an hour by car; by bus and train, it takes less than an hour. Our tip: a trip to the Rombach playground a bit above the village. Located directly on the Rombach, this Heidi-themed playground offers numerous attractions for children. In addition, the barbecue area is perfect for some relaxing family time. By the way, our area is well located for excursions in the region: you can reach Zurich, Chur in Grisons, and St. Gallen all within an hour.

Immediately after entering, you come into a spacious foyer. In addition to various useful cooking utensils, the separate kitchen includes a refrigerator with freezer compartment, glass ceramic stove, coffee machine (Nespresso) and a raclette and fondue set. There are two bedrooms that were newly renovated in 2019. The first bedroom has a king-sized for 2 people (180 x 200 cm). The second bedroom has a twin XL bed (90 x 200cm). The living room offers additional sleeping space for 1 person in a comfortable full-sized sofa bed (140 x 200 cm). A baby bed and high chair can be provided on request. The bathroom was also renovated in 2019 and offers a combined shower/tub and sink. The apartment has a separate toilet closet. Practical: the apartment has a washing machine and tumble dryer for your laundry. Pets are welcome. Smoking is allowed outside (balcony, terrace). Wireless internet is available in the house.
