The zum Leist apartment, with an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains, is located in a vacation complex in the Arvenbüel district of Amden on the top floor of a quiet two-story apartment building and is accessible via a staircase. It has three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen, a spacious living area with a gallery and a large balcony. In total, it offers a generous 110 square meters of living space and can accommodate up to 6 people. One underground parking space with access from the staircase is reserved. The ski slope and the diverse hiking area with the Monte Mio mountain restaurant, the Leistkamm café and the Arvenbüel restaurant are right on the doorstep. The village of Amden with the indoor swimming pool and the Volg and Mini Spar grocery stores as well as the Löwen café with a bakery and pastry store can be reached by car in less than 10 minutes or by bus every hour from the next bus stop "Arvenbüel, Arven" (100 m from the apartment). From Amden, the Mattstock chairlift serves as a shuttle to the hiking and skiing area of the same name. The journey from the apartment all the way down into the valley to Weesen and Lake Walen takes about 15 minutes by car and 27 minutes by bus from the bus station. The Amden Weesen vacation region is located in Switzerland in the canton of St. Gallen and impresses with its diversity and extensive range of leisure activities: Leisurely boat trips on Lake Walen, walks along the shore in the Mediterranean microclimate, swimming in the crystal-clear water, the spectacular Seerenbach Falls, family-friendly hikes with adventure playgrounds, impressive viewpoints as well as various via ferrata routes. Amden is conveniently located: the cities of Rapperswil, Chur, Zurich and the neighboring regions of Heidiland, Glarnerland and Lake Zurich can all be reached within a maximum of one hour's drive. The spacious flat is entered through an entrance hall with wardrobe and sideboard. To the right and left you enter the 3 bedrooms and straight ahead into the spacious living area with open kitchen and window front. Through a sliding door you enter the sunny balcony with a beautiful view of the mountain panorama, including the two mountains that give the apartment its name: the Ammler "Leistkamm" and the "Leist" (highest point of the Flumserberg ski area) in the Glarus Alps opposite. The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom has a double bed (180x200) with two bedside tables and bedside lamps, two wicker armchairs with a small table and a wardrobe. The newly renovated en-suite bathroom is equipped with a WC, a bathtub, a shower cubicle, a washbasin with vanity unit and a sideboard. In the guest room there is a queen-size bed (160x200cm) with a view of the starry sky through the darkenable skylight, two bedside tables and lamps, clothes racks, a large mirror with dressing table, a sofa, a radio/CD player and a large selection of books in German. The children's room is equipped with a loft bed (90 x 200 cm) with slide as well as a stacking bed consisting of two narrow beds (80 x 200 cm), which can also be placed next to each other on request and used as a queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm) or a further children's bed, a large desk with lamp and shelf as well as board games and a radio/CD player. The living area, furnished with a cosy sofa and two stools and two wicker armchairs each, with a rustic fireplace incl. firewood, together with the open-plan kitchen, forms the feel-good centre of this flat. The kitchen is equipped as follows: large dining table with 6 comfortable wicker chairs (the table can be extended to 8 seats on request), electric glass ceramic hob, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine (Nespresso), kettle, cheese fondue, meat fondue and raclette set. From the living room, a spiral staircase with railing leads to the gallery, where you will find the TV (satellite & also connectable to streaming services via mobile) and cosy seating such as a sofa, a beanbag and two small children's wicker chairs with a table. On the gallery there are 2 more stacking beds (80 x 200cm).The living room also leads to the second bathroom with WC, washbasin with vanity unit and shower cubicle. On the partially covered balcony, a large table with 6 chairs as well as two armchairs and a small table invite you to linger. On request, a simple sauna as well as a washing machine with tumble dryer in the basement of the house are available for shared use. Also available are: Two children's high chairs (Trip Trap), a small kettle grill, a hairdryer and a baby cot (can be provided on request).
