Welcome to one of the many apartments of our vacation rental service Travemünde! This is where you will find a home for as long as you wish to stay.

The Maritim stands directly next to both the Travemünde Beach and the estuary of the Trave. It towers the waters with its 125 meters. The hotel is located on the 5th to the 14th floors. All the other floors are private apartments partly in use for vacation rentals. All floors can be reached with the elevators. There are no regular stairs (only the fire exit stairs). Europe highest lighthouse light is on the rooftop in 114,7 m height. This light took over in 1974 for the oldest lighthouse Germany, the old Travemünde Lighthouse, stuck only a few meters behind the tower.

MARITIM-RESIDENZ, 29th floor, 64.50sqm, Trave view, two room apartment for 2-4 persons. The furniture is in sweet cherry and teak. In the living room is a sofa, armchair, seating cube in leather, coffee table, sideboard, wall bed (two separated mattresses), two side tables with lamps, dining table with four chairs, cable TV, stereo system. The living room is equipped with a big rug and a carpet runner. In the corridor is a mirror. In the bedroom are two built-in wardrobes, a double bed (two separate mattresses), two bedside tables with lights. Fully equipped built-in kitchen in sweet cherry, electric stove, baking oven, microwave, kitchen hood, large refrigerator with freezer. The bathroom is equipped with built in cupboards, corner shower with seat, indirect lighting. Balcony furniture and two awnings available.

Linen, towels and final cleaning (€ 70) are included in the final price. NON-SMOKING APARTMENT. No pets allowed. Free WiFi (you will find the password in a folder in the apartment). You can ask to book a parking space for € 10/night if available.
You will find an outdoor parking space for bikes with holders next to the entrance of the residence.
Please note that that during the summertime the beach will be cleaned up mechanically early mornings and there might be disturbances by noise. Seaweed might get washed ashore and then stored on the beach, which might cause unpleasant odors. None of these nuisances give a right to lower the price or ask for compensation.
Please note furthermore that there will be events along the promenade and on the beach – especially on weekends – and that it might get louder around those times. We also would like to point out that the Travemünder Woche, the second biggest world sail event, always takes place at the end of July. Please ask about the exact dates if you don’t want to book around that time.
Important information for the parking card
Please lay the card in the tray to open the first gate. Then drive towards the lower floor. To pass the second gate, hold the card in front of the button. Do not hold the card twice in front of the device but only once until the gate opens. If you move too carefully, it might cause an error. Your space on the lower floor has the # 271. If you don't pass the second gate, meaning you chose to park somewhere else on the other floors, you will not be able to exit the garage with your card. You will then have to go to the pay station and pay the fee for the parking duration to be able to leave the garage.
The visitor tax is not included in the final booking price!
The tax amounts to € 1.60/night per person from January 1st to May 14th and September 15th to December 31st and to € 3 from May 15th to September 14th.
Cancellation
If the tenant cancels the contract after making the down-payment the vacation rental service will withhold an amount of € 29 as a service fee. The remain of the down-payment will be refunded.
If you cancel later than 60 days before the begin of your stay the full amount will still be due. We advise to a cancellation insurance, which you can contract up to 10 days following the booking. If we are able to rent the place for either the whole time period or at least part of it, the due amount will be diminished consequently. The tenant is allowed to name another person as a replacement.

    Hafenausblick Negativ: Es wird im Vorfeld, ich bezeichnet es, als eine nicht ruhige, lebhafte Lage hingewiesen, was absolut in Ordnung ist!
    Was ich nicht verstehen kann, das der Traktor um 4 Uhr morgens lautstark mit Strand aufräumen beginnt!
    Für mich ist da noch Nachtruhe.”
