From June to beginning of July it is a very special time in the mountains: It's blooming time!
A lot of herbs and flowers adorn the paths and meadows and invite you to linger.
Enjoy the quiet moments! There will be very few other hikers crossing your path.

You want to hear the silence, enjoy the mountain view, breathe the fresh air and at the same time have some action in your holiday? - Then you have found your place with us at the DrauSport Apartment at Emberger Alm.
Our holiday apartment is situated in the heart of Emberger Alm right next to Almhotel Fichtenheim. In addition to a gorgeous view from the southern balcony you will find 2 double-bed rooms with a bathroom each, one room with 4 beds for children or friends, one kitchen-living room and one extra external bathroom. Feel free to use the sun terrace to the west of the building to soak up the sun also in the later hours of the afternoon.
If you don't feel like cooking yourself and prefer to eat out, you will find several restaurants with a delicious menu just a few walking minutes away. On previous order, you also have the possibility to get fresh bread rolls there every morning and enjoy a quiet breakfast watching the sun rise on you private balcony.
And in case of not-so-jolly weather you can just stay in, enjoying free WiFi, a TV set and a games corner in your apartment to keep you entertained. What's more, you have free access to the beautiful wellness area in Almhotel Fichtenheim right next door (please notify the staff beforehand). Twice a week you also get the chance to book a relaxing massage there.


Activities:
Our winter-sports school including equipment rental is situated in the same building - access the skiing slopes right from your doorstep!
The meeting point for guided hiking tours is just a few metres away. The take-off sites for hang- and paragliders can also be reached within a short walk. We start off at 1800 m above sea level already. That way you can start your hikes to several of our spectacular peaks right from your holiday home, just as well as shorter routes that are accessible even with a buggy.
Watching the sun rise above the clouds is an unforgettable experience and the night's sky offers a breathtaking view at the stars, especially around new moon. The state-of-the-art observatory at Sattlegger's Alpenhof hotel can be rented or visited with a guided tour on demand.
