Casale il Sauco consists of 7 beautiful country house apartments situated just outside the picturesque village of Santa Maria di Castellabate in the wonderful and undiscovered Cilento coast in Southern Italy. The recently renovated stone farmhouse has been lovingly restored and converted into prestigious apartments. Each apartment is tastefully decorated combining traditional style and modern facilities. Immersed in the countryside with views to the rolling hills on one side and towards the sea on the other it is ideally positioned to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country and yet just 5 minutes drive to the sandy beaches and the village with its selections of shops, bars and restaurants.

The stylish rooms combine modern facilities with traditional style. The terracotta floors have hand-painted ceramic inlays typical of the Cilento regions.

Apartment Baia is situated on 2 levels the lower floor consists of kitchen living /dining area, 1 twin bedroom with a bathroom with shower, an indoor stairway leads the upper floor to a stylish double bedroom with attic style wooden beams. Access to this apartment is via the garden where there are steps.

Location description : Santa Maria di Castellabate is an attractive typical Italian village situated along the coast in the Cilento national park offers a varied selection of shops, ice cream shops, cafes and restaurants serving traditional dishes. The sandy beaches were awarded the Blue Flag for clean seas. The centre consists of a pedestrian street which leads to a main piazza and a church.The neighbouring village of San Marco with a picturesque can be reached in a short bus/car rive. The medieval village of Castellabate Unesco heritage site, awarded 'most beautiful hamlets of Italy' is worth a visit
