New renovated 85 square meters cottage in a montain country style, very attractive and comfortable in all ways. Only in 45 min. drive from Reykjavik. The cottage has license to be rent out HG The location is in the beautiful Svinadalur in the foot of Skardsheiði in the top of the hillside in a very quiet and privacy area with a mountain, lake and woodland panorama view, close to many attractive destinations wort to visit in a day tour in all directions. Close to a salmon river and the lake is only in 500 meters . Next to the house is a marked path up the mountain above the house for those who are interested in mountaineering and for about 30 min. driving is Glymur waterfall for hiking. There are few lakes near by were you can catch fish, need to buy fishing license and several golf courses within 30 min. drive. In the cabin you will find some brochures for some more activities and nice places to visit nearby. The cottage is very well equipped in all ways. The cottage is suitable for 6 single people, 3 couples or a family. Good fire protections in the house. See details further down. The swimming pool at Hladir (open in the summertime) is only in 10 min. drive from the cottage and in. Skorradalur is a very attractive valley with a big lake, in Þórisstaðir is a very nice 9 hole golf area. Geitabergsvatn where you can catch fishing and others lakes nearby. If you like hiking you will find the highest waterfall Glymur in the area, a beautiful hiking area. More details regarding the cottage and what is included: Bedrooms: 3 bedroom downstairs and open sleeping loft upstairs all with dark curtains and comfortable brand new beds, 1 x 160 cm. double bed, 1 x 140 cm. double and 1 x 120 cm single bed. Up in the sleeping loft you find either 1 x 180 cm. king size bed and 1 x 90 cm. single beds or 3 single beds. Bedrooms: Kitchen: Fully equipped, were you find dishes, all kinds of glasses, cups, coffee maker and Nespresso coffee maker, free instand coffee, dishwasher, cooker with oven, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, waffle maker, bottle opener, knives, egg slicer, cheese slicer, some spices and oil for cooking you are welcome to use. Washing up liquid and powder, tablecloths, tea towels and more. Good fire protections in the house, well equipped, fire extinguisher in the entrance, fire alarms in all bedrooms and in the open space and first aid in the bathroom. Escape exit are out of all the windows in the house and 3 doors. Guests are asked to be careful with fire indoors and out doors, the house is made of wood and a lot of trees and things outside.
