The house is located in the "Montagna Pistoiese" in the small village of Mammiano, in the district called "Le Ferriere", where until after the end of the Second World War iron was processed. The house ispictured on old maps back to the year 1780. The house has been freshly renovated and furnished in a modern style. The beautiful terrace, the garden and the beautiful view of the village and the Appennin invite you to stay. The nearby 212meterlong and 40m high suspension bridge, , is within 5 – 10 minutes walking distance. One of the longest of its kind, it’s a tourist attraction and attracts many visitors. Three kilometers away in San Marcello Piteglio you can find many shops and restaurants where you can eat well and inexpensively. The proximity to the famous cultural cities of Tuscany (30 minutes to Pistoia, 3/4 hours to Florence and Lucca, 1 ¼ hours to Pisa and 1 1/2 hours to Siena) offers the alternative of a relaxing day in the countryside near the village or interesting cultural excursions. The coast, "La Versilia" with the seaside resorts of Forte dei Marmi to Viareggio is worth a visit as well as the Museum of Leonardo in Vinci and the Grotta del Vento in the Garfagnana. Abetone is 15 km away and during the winter season offers a ski resort with numerous ski lifts and cable cars , whilst in summer mountainbikers find the downhill trails their hearts desire.

    “Positiv: Das gesamte Haus wie auch der Garten sind wunderschön, eine perfekt eingerichtete, moderne Küche, ebenso die 2 Badezimmer alles sehr geschmackvoll ausgebaut beide Duschen mit Glastrennwand, wirklich toll!!! Die gesamte Einrichtung von Wohn- und Schlafräume sind sehr gut, stilvoll und auch praktisch. Negativ: Leider war der uns versprochene und auch in der Anzeige ausgeschriebene Pool nicht fertig gebaut”
