500 year old completely restored Valser house in Malvaglia, Blenio Valley / Val Sole Ticino. The beautiful stone / wooden house with rented parking space is located in a quiet residential area just above the village church, 10 minutes walk from the bus stop Malvaglia Chiesa. The house is not suitable for children and teenagers and is therefore rented exclusively to couples (not sleeping separately). The owner herself lives in this house regularly, which is why it is fully furnished - including spices, basic foodstuffs, etc. - which may also be used by the guests.
Malvaglia is well served by public transport. 5km to Biasca SBB railway station or to the motorway in the direction of Zurich/Lucerne/Bern or Locarno/Lugano/Chiasso. The house is luxuriously restored and furnished (antique combined with USM and Corbusier) and has two floors. On the ground floor there is a bright bedroom for 2 persons with integrated bathroom.

On the first floor there is a living / dining room with fully equipped open kitchen, wooden veranda and sun terrace, a small wet room with shower, toilet, washbasin and a small office (not lockable) with exit to the terrace and garden. The garden is not fenced. The house is equipped with a heat pump system (Stiebel Eltron) with solar panels, underfloor heating, a granite floor in the entrance area and on the 1st floor and a dark oak parquet floor in the sleeping area. WLAN, Swisscom TV and radio/CD and DAB radio are available. Around the house there are cosy lawn and granite slab seating areas.

Ground floor: Door to the bedroom (2x90x200cm beds electrically adjustable, bed linen, shower / towels, 2 USM bedside tables, wall-mounted reading lamps "Touch", Löwe-Swisscom TV, French door to the seating area, open bathroom with whirlpool bath, Villeroy & Boch toilet, washbasin with angular lavabo, mosaic wall, dark oak parquet, antique, hand-planed, oiled. Wooden door to the technical room, washing machine with integrated tumbler, further door to the réduit (only for the owner).

1st floor: staircase, white kitchen with glass front/cover, cooking island with glass ceramic cooker and integrated extractor, pull-out drawers, washing machine Miele Knock-to-open, refrigerator with 3 freezer drawers, Swedish oven Attika, antique dining table with 4 baroque armchairs covered with yellow, red, blue, green leather, black leather Corbusier couch, black leather sofa, antique baroque cupboard with sufficient crockery (Alt Strasbourg). Plate warmer, toaster, coffee machine DeLonghi fully automatic (coffee beans available), on request also Nespresso coffee machine, oven, microwave, bathroom (shower with glass doors, toilet Villeroy & Boch), garden for private use, > 200 m2), garden furniture, barbecue (electric), parking for 2 vehicles.

The Malvaglia Valley, located at the entrance of the Blenio Valley, also called the Sun Valley, has an incredible variety of unspoiled landscapes. From the chestnut groves and vineyards of the lower valley to the Adula glacier, passing green meadows, alpine pastures, fir and larch forests. These valleys are a paradise for nature lovers! In summer, the region is ideal for beautiful hikes or mountain bike tours amidst breathtaking scenery. In the winter season you can ski and sled on slopes specially designed for families, or take advantage of the snow-covered plains prepared for cross-country skiing. The area is rich in history with its beautiful churches, castle, fossil museum, Palazzo Landfogti and the Ludiano wine press. It has about 2100 inhabitants and is situated at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level, bordering the municipality of Biasca to the south and Acquarossa to the north. In the village you can find: Town Hall, post office, bank, bus stop, pharmacy, supermarkets, butcher's shop, bars and restaurants. For nature lovers there are sandy beaches and many swimming spots along the river Brenno, which are part of the Legiuna nature reserve.

    “Topp ausgestattetes und sauberes Ferienhaus mit besonderem Charme – außen deutlich zu erkennen, das perfekt renovierte über 500 Jahre alte Valserhaus mit gekonntem Mix von alten und neuen Elementen. Der Garten sehr schön angelegt. Innen ein geschmackvoller Mix aus modernen und alten Möbeln. Geschmackvolle Funktionalität auch in den Bädern. Den Blick von gut sowie bequem ausgestatteten Terrasse und Balkon haben wir sehr genossen – ein echtes Idyll.
    Frau Meyer hat uns freundlich empfangen und stand uns bei Problemen (Unfall mit Krankenhausbesuch) überaus hilfsbereit zur Seite. So haben wir uns trotz allem erholt und genossen die Ruhe sehr.”
