“If you're looking for peace and tranquility in beautiful, rustic surroundings and you don't need luxury, this is the perfect place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again. Positiv: The cabin is in a peaceful and pretty landscape with a generous outside patio, of which roughly half is under a roof, including the built-in barbecue. The cabin is very well equipped and outside there are chairs and table as well as sun umbrellas and even a small lounge suite under the roof, which was nice to recline and read on during lazy moments outside. We brought a few extra utensils and supplies such as charcoal, firelighters, torches, spatulas, etc. but none of this was necessary. The advert is written in such a way that one is of the impression there is only enough cutlery for two people. There is enough for ten! Nadia, the hostess, was extremely helpful and friendly, even making a trip up from town to bring extra bedding for my son, who decided to spontaneously join us on the second day. Hot showers with good water pressure are available any time, thanks to the gas geyser. Trips to surrounding points of interest are easy and shopping is close by (7km to a local, well-equipped supermarket). There is a small solar power panel, which is enough to power the lights and charge cellphones, tablets, etc. Internet and telephone reception is good. Negativ: The 3km road up the hill from the village to the cabin is tarred but extremely narrow, with the last 200-300m being on a grassy private track. We had no problem in our Hyundai iX35, a medium-size SUV. If your car has good ground clearance and the weather is dry, you won't have a problem on the grassy part. If the weather is wet, you will probably need 4x4. As for the rest of the road, anything bigger than a medium-sized SUV, such as a Ford Ranger, may have to manoeuvre a bit on some of the curve, but ground-clearance is not a problem at all. The only thing that wasn't optimal was the tiny gas fridge. It doesn't have enough space and it barely gets a mild chill going. Fortunately we had brought a large cooler box along and simply bought a bag of ice at a garage about 8km away for around CHF 12. Restaurant: We didn't visit any restaurants. - . Ausflüge: The dam at the head of the Blenio Valley. - Nice drive. Plenty parking and a restaurant for those who need it.”

Ricordarsi di arrivare con la spesa fatta al fine di evitare di dover scendere in paese per le compere. In ogni caso in paese c'è un bel negozietto. Ottimo posto per Iana (cagnolina)”
