-schitterend uitzicht over funchal en oceaan
- veel ruimte in huiskamers en slaapkamers (allen met airco)
-zwembod groot en mooie ligging
-leuke bbq ruimte met tuintafel overdekt
-stille straat

Minpunten
-Niet alles even schoon (keuken en zwembad)
-keukenmeubilair wat verouderd. Keuken is aan vervanging toe
-auto absoluut noodzakelijk, tenzij je met bus wilt reizen (halte op 75 mtr)
-geen supermarkt/bakker op loopafstand (5 min met auto)”

“The contact number supplied on the paperwork did no connect to the owner, it was unavailable. Which meant when we arrived it was very stressful. The email address for domizil worked and they also had no way of contacting who was supposed to be greeting us.We waited on the road with our cases for a couple of hours.
We were told that we weren't allowed to use the log fire advertised and so no wood was available. Same for the BBQ area, we could not use this as there was no way of accessing fuel.
The oven door fell off and the whole oven moved when the door was opened. I burnt my hand on the door as there was no insulation on the door.I communicated this problem to the owner through email and this was ignored despite it being very dangerous. They only responded to positive feedback or information in relation to the pool heating. The Area around the pool was very dirty as was the master on suite bath. The games room was not made available to us- was locked. There was no brush, or dustpan and brush, the bottle opener was broken. The property had the potential to be amazing because of the views. The pool itself was spotlessly clean and after a few days reached a reasonable temperature. It was definitely not the temperature that was promised. I emailed asking about the temperature to the owners and this was also ignored. The beds were clean and the towels provided were also clean. However there was no spare sheets and only 1 big towel and 1 hand towel supplied per bed for the week. for showering and swimming even though it said linen and towels were included and also no washing machine so there was no option to have clean sheets or towels for the 7 days. The only hand vac that was in the kitchen didn't work. The televisions in the bedrooms were disconnected so we had to connect these up to use them.
All in all what could have been a fantastic holiday in a house that has amazing potential if only a few pound were spend making repairs and replace worn out equipment. Definitely not worth the money and the stress in this tired and dangerous state. It come across as there is a lack of interest in the property which is and was very disappointing. We left the property in very good order and did our best to try to figure out what colour bins were for what. We also had an infestation of ants which we learned to manage and it would have been useful to know that there is an ant problem more generally.”
