Il Baglio si trova nelle campagne di Balestrate, piccolo centro costiero del bel Golfo di Castellammare, sulla costa settentrionale della Sicilia tra Palermo e Trapani.
Dista 3 chilometri dal paese e dalla spiaggia ed è a soli 20 minuti di auto dall’aeroporto di Palermo e a 35 minuti da quello di Trapani
Grazie alla sua ottima posizione, si possono raggiungere facilmente alcuni dei più bei luoghi di mare e d’arte della Sicilia Occidentale (la Tonnara di Scopello, la Riserva dello Zingaro, San Vito lo Capo, Segesta, Erice, Monreale, Palermo, Selinunte)
La costa del Golfo di Castellammare alterna infatti lunghi tratti di spiaggia di sabbia, ideali per chi ha bambini piccoli, a spettacolari tratti rocciosi inframmezzati da calette.
Ricca la varietà dei luoghi d'arte che va dai celebri siti archeologici di Segesta e Selinunte, all'arte normanna di Monreale e Palermo, al suggestivo borgo di Erice con la sua vista spettacolare sulle isole Egadi e sulle saline di Trapani.

Apartment in Partinico with Private Parking and Spectacular Views

The house is situated in the countryside of Balestrate - a small town in the beautiful Gulf of Castellammare, set between Palermo and Trapani on Sicily's northern coast.
The village and beach lie a mere 3km from the house, whilst the airports of Palermo and Trapani require just 20 and 35 minutes by car respectively.
Thanks to its convenient location, many of Sicily’s natural splendours and artistic gems lie a mere stone’s throw from Balestrade (with visual and gastronomic treats including the tuna Scopello, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, San Vito lo Capo, Segesta, Erice, Monreale, Palermo and Selinunte).
The coast of the Gulf of Castellammare alternates long stretches of sandy beach, ideal for those with small children, with spectacular rocky stretches interspersed with coves.
You will be within touching distance of a variety of art venues, ranging from the famous archaeological sites of Segesta and Selinunte to the art of Norman Monreale and Palermo. Also nearby, the charming village of Erice provides spectacular views of the islands of Egadi and the salt pans of Trapani.

The house is on two floors and covers about 65 square meters. The entrance opens onto a large dining area with a nice kitchen, comfortable and organized. Also on the ground floor is the bedroom, spacious and bright, with two large windows overlooking a magnificent olive grove. The double bed (160 x 200) allows for a third bed or cot (both on request). Next to the bedroom is a bathroom with a spacious and elegant shower.
A stone staircase leads to the mezzanine where you find the living area, also usable as a second bedroom for 2/3 people. There is a sofa bed (140x 200) and enough space for an extra bed. This area leads to a lovely terrace (15 sq m) on the roofs of the baglio where you can have breakfast with the morning sun, sunbathe in privacy or enjoy the cool of the evening. The house overlooks the courtyard of the Baglio and in the reserved space in front of it you can relax on a sun lounger or dine by candlelight.
The house is the result of a recent restoration using recycled materials such as ancient stones and railings, and the choice of handmade terracotta for the floors and chestnut beams for the ceilings, give it a particular charm. The house has a heating system that makes it comfortable even for a winter stay. Perfect for a couple, for a family of 3/4 persons, or for two couples.
