House in Conneforde with Sunny Terrace

Spend the most enjoyable time of the year in this comfortable holiday house with plenty of space for up to five people. The detached house is very close to the Bernsteinsee holiday park and is quietly situated, by a private road with little traffic.

A generous 100m² of interior space awaits you, without thresholds, so it is suitable for the disabled. The ground floor consists of an open living room with a suite, an armchair, a large flatscreen TV with a DVD player, a stereo system, DVDs, CDs, and a big dining table with five chairs. Next to it there is the fully-equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee machine, pads coffee machine (Netto), kettle, egg boiler, toaster, sandwich maker, mixer, scales etc. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (consisting of two mattresses 90 x 200cm each) and the other, the children’s room, with a single bed (100 x 200cm) and if necessary also a cot. There is a ladder in this room leading up to a gallery with a further double bed (160 x 200cm). The daylight bathroom provides a walk-in shower, a washbasin, a washing machine and WC.

The 550m² site is fenced and comprises a roofed terrace, a garden shed, garden furniture, sun loungers, a parasol, a grill, a fire bowl, parking spaces and plenty of greenery all around. From may 2018 there will be also an outside whirlpool for your use. A handcart is available for relaxed trips to the lake.

It is 300 metres to the lake. The holiday park has a kiosk with essential items, including bread rolls and newspapers in the mornings. There is a restaurant 1km away (themed buffet at weekends) and there are further restaurants and shops in Spohle (4km), in Obenstrohe (6km) and Varel (9km). Varel has a lovely harbour with shops, e.g. Bahlsen (factory outlet) and great fish restaurants. The Ammerland has a very well-developed network of cycling and hiking trails through a unique park landscape, ideal for those who like cycling and walking. It is just 12km along a country road or cycle path to the coast at the nearby North Sea town of Dangast. For those who are longing for a maritime flair a trip to Bremerhaven is a must. It is 45km from Conneforde through the new Wesertunnel. You can visit the new Klimahaus, the zoo by the sea, the Auswandererhaud or go on a harbour trip through Europe’s largest car harbour, rounding it off with a stroll through the fishing harbour. If you would like to cross rickety hanging bridges like Indiana Jones, or whizz 100 metres over the water like James Bond on a cable, or swing from tree to tree like Tarzan, then the climbing forest “Forest 4 Fun” is the right place for you. It currently has 8 climbing circuits of different difficulty levels and altitudes with more than 70 climbing elements. After an introductory circuit, you can follow the rest independently. It is open all year round. 6-8-year-olds may only climb accompanied by adults. You can go fishing in the lake, Bernsteinsee, as long as you have a permit. It is about 1.8km to the Almsee trout pond, with four different sizes of pond, of which one is natural. Trout of up to 10 pounds in weight are placed into it daily. The ponds are open daily during the summer months from 6.30 to about 21.00, and at other times depending on daylight hours.

    “Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, das man sich auf jeden Fall anschauen sollte. Sehr großzügig geschnitten, mit einer sehr schönen Gartenanlage. Im Lichtdurchfluteten Wintergarten kann man hervorragend frühstücken. Die Schlafzimmer sind mehr als ausreichend und bieten insgesamt 5 Schlafplätze. Die Umgebung ist wirklich wundervoll. Durch einen kleinen Schleichweg gelangt man direkt zum nahe gelegenen Bernsteinsee. Das Wasser ist sehr klar und für Kinder ganz klar zu empfehlen. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gelangt man relativ schnell zu Lebensmittelgeschäften.
    Es ist alles angemessen sauber und der Whirlpool und die Sauna sind nur das Sahnehäubchen dieser Unterkunft. Ganz klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.”

    “Das Haus verfügt über beste Ausstattung. Die Küche ist ideal ausgestattet. Von Eierkocher bis zum Mikro alles vorhanden. Ein eingezäunter Garten runden das gepflegte und schöne Grundstück vollkommen ab. Das Ganze Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es sind sehr nette Vermieter.”
