Domaine Les Rivales in the Provence, La Cigale

We are in the heart of Provence, in an ancient wine domain. The main home was constructed at the end of the 19th century. We will welcome you in what was the attic ( upstairs), which has been converted in an apartment of 110 m², done up in a Provençal contemporary style. Renovated in a refined style by local craftsmen, you will discover the beautiful original frame of this apartment under the roof, in shades of grey and white. Children are very welcome : the mezzanine has been specially designed to accommodate a children’s space for games. This extends the dream of a perched hut. In some minutes from Avignon, Saint Rémy de Provence, les Baux de Provence, l’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes, Roussillon and the most famous villages of Luberon: Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste…

In the courtyard and the garden, hundred-year-old plane trees and linden will shelter you from ardour of the sun. A room of repose outside opens on the garden an the pool. For your summer meals, the barbecue is at your disposal. In Provence, under olive trees, cicadas wait for you at the edge of the swimming pool.

Air-conditioned apartment. In ample stay dining room, you will find a perfectly equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster). In the buanderie, a washing machine and an iron are at your disposal. Comfortable chesterfields will favour your reading, a hi-fi chain will allow you to listen to music (classic and variety). TV. Internet access. Free wifi. Both rooms (3), are equipped with a broad wardrobe with double bed (linen of provided bed). Contemporary room of bath with shower to the Italian (provided bath sheets), separated toilet.

Provence lives up to its reputation ! You will savour excellent local wines, you may visit markets perfumed in lavender and cuisine inspired by the land… Ease is grown in all seasons. In the morning, up to the setting sun, in Provence, you will use instant, simply. July and August, rentals from Saturday to Saturday.

Large families or groups of friends can rent the 2 apartments (ground floor 2 bedrooms - upstairs 3 bedrooms). If you rent a single apartment, you will be the only family welcomed at Domaine Les Rivales. It is an ideal frame to satisfy your desires of escape, discovery of Provence, to disconnect you from the harmful influence of actuality and live on relaxant vacation with your rhythm.

    “Das Appartement ist im Gebäude eines alten Weinguts untergebracht. Es ist neu gestaltet, modern eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alle Zimmer sind mit einer sehr leise laufenden Klimaanlage ausgestattet und das Bad ist modern ausgestattet. Das Appartement liegt im Obergeschoss und ist großzügig gestaltet. Wir fanden das Appartement in einem sehr guten und sehr sauberen Zustand vor. Die Vermieter wohnen ebenfalls in der ehemaligen Weindomaine und sind sehr gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. In dem Anwesen befindet sich ein Pool, der mitbenutzt werden kann. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist, dass das Gebäude an einer recht viel befahrenen Straße liegt und bei offenem Fenster die Fahrzeuggeräusche deutlich hörbar sind. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist es aber im Appartement angenehm ruhig. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist für die Erkundung der Gegend gut geeignet.”
