North Zealand is always a beautiful and very cosy holiday resort with several attractive beaches on the kilometres-long wide coast with a view that extends untill Sweden. Largest lakes of Denmark and magnificent forest regions as well as a few beautiful royal palaces are located in North Zealand. The Royal Family lives in the Palace of Fredensbrog in autumn and spring. The palace is open to visitors in July, while the palace park is open throughout the year. Also the Palace of Frederiksborg in Hillerod and Hamlet’s Kronborg Castle in Helsingor (Elsinore) are worth a visit. Visit the Technical Museum situated towards south of Helsingor (Elsinore) in addition to the Aviation and Transport Museum.
