This beautiful holiday accommodation is located near the medieval village of Montaione, in the heart of Tuscany, right between Florence, Pisa and Siena (all at 50-55 km), at only 19 km from San Gimignano, 17 km from Certaldo and 29 km from Volterra. Lucca is 60 km away.
This lovely farm, originally dating back to 1861, but restored during the years, consists of a Tuscan style villa and other 3 independent buildings.
The apartments (mostly on the ground floor, but some of them on the first floor) all have a private terrace or sitting area, and are very comfortable and have been wisely renovated in respect of the environment and of clients’ needs.
Also available to guests are a large veranda, with a beautiful view, a wood-burning oven and a fireplace, where one can spend pleasant hours, and two swimming pools (one for adults 18x9m and one for children 6x3m, open Apr-Oct) with a spacious solarium furnished with deck chairs, sun beds and beach umbrellas.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a marvellous park full of pine trees and cypresses, where birds sing all day long. It is also possible to meet pheasants and wild ducks while walking around the estate as well as the two graceful swans that inhabit a lake nearby. Pets are welcome. At guest’s disposal also Internet Wi-fi connection, children playground, barbecue, breakfast room and washing machine.
