Holiday Apartment in Vieregge with Private Parking and Fantastic View

This detached brick house is 300 metres from the water, in the quietly situated Vieregge with around 3 inhabitants, on a side street with litte traffic.

There are terraces on two sides and access to a garden with your own little section of garden. The terraces have garden loungers and chairs and the big garden has various trees and fruit trees, berry bushes, perennials, a flower bed and lawn. The garden is largely enclosed by various hedges, but there is no fence. A 1-hecture pasture adjoins the garden, which guests also have access to and which stretches as far as the harbour village. Beware of ticks.

The former manor from the year 1870, with older foundations, was restored in 2009 and 2010 to listed standards and is suitable for allergy sufferers. All the bedrooms are have loam plastering and offer a better interior climate. There is central heating throughout. The whole house is suitable for 12 people and consists of a main apartment for 8 people and a secondary apartmetn for 2 people plus supplementary beds for a further 2 people. The apartments can be booked separately or together. Babies and toddlers up to two years old stay free of charge (you need to bring your own children’s beds and bed linen). This apartment is on the ground floor and has its own side entrance. It has a living room with a kitchen unit and a pull-out sofa bed for 1-2 people, a bedroom with a double bed (160cm wide), a bathroom that leads off the living room, a fireplace stove.

The bodden with a harbour and a little spot for swimming is about 300 metres away. It is possible to hire motorboats here, to moor your own boat or to enjoy a sunset in the little harbour café. From the harbour it is 3km by boat across the bodden to Breege and from there a kilometre on foot to the Baltic Sea beach at Juliusruh. The steam boat to Hiddensee passes twice a week. There is a very flat swimming beach about 200 metres away, very good for small children, but not for serious swimmers. If you would like both, we recommend the beach by the little harbour at Grubnow, with pedalo hire, about 2km away. The bodden is ideal for fishing, swimming, sailing or rowing, and is (still) not overcrowded. Vieregge is on a peninsula that offers one of the most beautiful hiking areas at the Lidower Haken. The Grümbke vieiwing tower is being rebuilt. It affords a fantastic view, as well as from the ancient church in Neuenkirchen. The nearest restaurant is about 2km away in Neuenkirchen.

In Vieregge you can occasionally spot a fox, rabbit or deer, who sometimes pop into the garden, unfortunately for some of the flowers. There are also wild board, the obligatory cuckoo, a badger, various owls and singing birds, a vain pheasant, as well as a fish eagle and cranes, depending on the season.
